A Savannah native with deep family ties to the city, John Blanton brings a heartfelt, client-centered approach to real estate. After spending seven years in Chicago, John recently returned home to the Hostess City, where his love for Savannah was first instilled by his grandfather, John Rousakis—Savannah’s first Greek mayor who served the city for over 20 years. John's pride in his Greek heritage and his strong sense of community are the cornerstones of his personal and professional life. Real estate runs in John’s blood. With a mother and sister in real estate and a father who built custom homes, it was only natural that John would follow in their footsteps. After all, John has been helping his mom show houses since he was a kid! After earning a Finance degree from the University of Mississippi and building a successful career in corporate risk management, John is now combining his financial expertise, analytical mindset, and passion for helping others to guide clients through the home buying and selling process with confidence and clarity. John believes real estate is more than just transactions—it’s about people, relationships, and finding a true sense of home. Known for his genuine care and thoughtful communication, he always puts his clients’ needs first and works tirelessly to deliver results that feel right for each individual or family. John lives on Savannah’s Southside with his husband Bobby, a Gulfstream Aerospace employee, and their two beloved dachshunds Gus and Roscoe. In 2025, they are excited to begin growing their family through adoption. When he’s not working John enjoys local dining, entertaining friends, gardening, and soaking in the beauty and charm that Savannah offers. John is proud to represent the city that shaped him—and he looks forward to sharing the same love, hospitality, and sense of belonging that Savannah has always given him.

Working with John was such a blessing. I can't thank John enough for everything he's done for me and my family. Buying a home from out of State can be stressful, especially when you don't know much about the city, neighborhoods, or where to begin. But from the very start, John made the entire experience smooth and worry-free. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and went above and beyond to help me find a home that was safe and perfect for my family. He is one of the most dedicated and honest people I've ever worked with. There were nights when he stayed up late sending me listings and comparable homes for me to review - I even had to tell him to get some rest! That's how committed he was to helping me find the rest place. During every showing, he shared his genuine opinion, pointed out potential issues or concerns and made sure I never made a rushed decision. He approached the search as if he were in my shoes - looking for a home that matches my values, needs and dreams. In addition to his care and dedication, he was incredibly organized and professional. He stayed on top of every document, contract, deadline - from submitting offers, earnest money to contingencies - making sure everyone was handled promptly and correctly. His constant communication and attention to detail gave me so much peace of mind through the process. Because of John's hard work, honesty and genuine heart, my family and I are now happily settled in a home that feels just right. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone. John, thank you for everything you've done. If I ever buy another property in the future, I would choose to work with you a million times over. You are not only an amazing realtor but also a truly wonderful human being. I am so grateful for your kindness, honesty and dedication throughout this journey.
