We were referred to Ryan via a previous agent we worked with who was unable to work with us again due to a relocation. We were initially nervous but Ryan was warm, engaging and welcoming; putting as at ease almost immediately during our first meeting. My husband and I have always wanted to work with an agent who was gay friendly and were pleasantly surprised when we found out Ryan wasn’t just an Ally but an actual member of our community. We came to Ryan looking for a new home and thought we knew exactly what and where we wanted. Through open ended communication and probably a few too many texts from our side (which he ALWAYS responded to) Ryan helped us realize what was really important to us and what didn’t matter as much. We expanded in some ways and narrowed our search in others. We asked a lot of questions and if he didn’t have an immediate answer he found it for us swiftly. We saw more than a few homes. Ryan worked with us and was flexible with his time. By the end he knew *exactly* what we would think of a home before we even saw it, and that includes the home we put our offer in for. Thanks to Ryan’s advice and negotiating we’ve now been our home for years. Overall he was great at the *work* but what really stood out for us was the ever-present feeling that we could be ourselves. He knew what we meant, he understood our references, we didn’t have to rationalize potential concerns; he just understood us. Forever grateful for the opportunity to work with him.
