My wife and I are newlyweds and first-time home buyers in Baltimore, MD. We just got married in September 2018, and even though Maryland is a progressive state, there are still a lot of bigots. While we were wedding planning, we had really terrible interactions with some companies that “didn’t do” same-sex weddings. Needless to say, we were really turned off and didn’t feel comfortable in our everyday dealings with people because of these incidents.

When we decided to buy our first house, we were very nervous about which realtor to use. We looked at 3-4 people and ultimately chose not to go any further because of our recent negative interactions. We found Wayne through a co-worker of my wife’s and decided to meet him, since we only heard incredible things.

Since first meeting Wayne, my wife and I felt comfortable, supported, and understood. Any problem, question, or concern was addressed immediately and with such profound insight. We were really nervous about finding a place where we could feel comfortable being ourselves openly, and Wayne made our concerns his own.

With Wayne, my wife and I felt understood and were listened to in ways I genuinely do not think we would have been with any other realtor. He made our every question, comment, and concern feel important, and in doing so made us feel important as well.

Wayne routinely went above and beyond for my wife and I not only during our house search and during settlement, but afterwards as well, making sure that move-in went well, and checking in to see if we were as in love with our house on day 25 as we were on day 1.

I cannot recommend Wayne highly enough. Without him, we would not have found the home of our dreams. My wife and I are so grateful to have had such a professional, caring, and thorough realtor turned friend!
