This is our second time buying a home with Phillip and first time selling our home with him and Alex. We contacted Phillip this summer to start the conversation about what kind of house we could afford and where in the greater Seattle area might be the best fit for our family. Right away Phillip and Alex put us at ease and gave us so much useful information that we decided to take the plunge.
We had to sell our existing home in order to be able to buy a new one. Both working full time and having a kindergartener made the logistics of getting our house ready to sell feel daunting. Phillip gave us recommendations that were cost effective and impactful. They made a super detailed home selling plan for us, soup to nuts, from painting to landscaping to staging and everything in between. Phillip and Alex organized the timing, recommended workers, scheduled everything, and oversaw every aspect of the process while also ensuring that we were still able to have comfort and a sense of normalcy by recommending great airbnbs and working around our timelines which is important when you have young kids. Honestly, they were amazing. They took the stress out of the process entirely and in the end our home sold in 6 days! We were worried about the timing of buying and moving into our next home and with absolute finesse, Phillip orchestrated the process where we were able to make an offer that wasn’t contingent on our house sale, and move directly into our new home from our previous home. We never felt pressured and always felt like we were getting good advice.
My husband and I have very different design aesthetics and yet Phillip was able to hone in on what each of us really wanted and help us find our dream home. He listened not only to what we were saying but also took the time to understand our lives and understand us as individuals and as a family. It was easy to place our trust in him. He made us feel like we were his only clients (which is funny because in reading his reviews I find that a lot of his clients feel that way too). He has such deep knowledge of this business and went above and beyond what we expected of him in every way. Such as giving us design tips, tips on enrolling our son in a new school, great suggestions for a new landscaper, home maintenance tips, a good packing and moving company to use, I could go on and on. Friends of our recommended Phillip to us back in 2012 and we couldn’t be more grateful for the connection. Fast forward to 2019, we wouldn’t be where we are today without Phillip and Alex’s help.
