3/18/2020 – Doug was a super fit for us. We were very anxious about making a decision and visited a bunch of houses the first few weeks, kept some on our shortlist, visited more, watched some of our shortlist go under contract.
Doug stayed consistently open to seeing more properties, revisiting our shortlists, smoothly adjusted when we shifted our geographic area, and was wonderfully calming during what was for us, a high-anxiety time. There was no pressure, every property was thoroughly considered.
After nearly 3 months, we chose a home that we had seen near the beginning of our search, and he worked with the sellers agent to support the seller into feeling they got what they needed and getting us a home we could move into immediately and start making it our own. We have 3 kids and needed to consider their needs in terms of location and space, and location for our jobs, and location/space for work/life balance. We’re happy in our home, we’re happy with our neighbors and the ‘hood.
It’s a process, and Doug’s professionalism and experience kept us involved and optimistic. I don’t know how we could have done it without him.
